BUILDING - Searches for possible temporary or permanent buildings or sites for our synagogue and works with the architect for building our own building.

BULLETIN - Compiles and edits monthly congregation bulletin and activities calendar which is mailed to each congregational member. 

FINANCE - Studies and develops the management and collection of synagogue funds.

FUNDRAISING - Plans and implements any fundraising ideas.

MAZON - Coordinates contributions to the Jewish response to hunger.

SOCIAL ACTION - Coordinates participation in the Zaban Night Shelter in downtown Atlanta as well as other local community involvement. OUTREACH - Plans functions for those members who have non-Jewish spouses and who want to meet in social situations. PUBLICITY - Promotes Congregation B'Nai Israel in local publications and advertises various events. RELIGIOUS SCHOOL - Coordinates teachers, materials, and programs. RITUAL AND PULPIT - Maintains a standard for the conducting of proper Jewish services and coordinates the needs of the rabbi and the congregation as it involves worship.  Coordinates scheduling members to host Friday night Onegs. SISTERHOOD - Organization of all Congregation women. SUNSHINE - Helps aid members during family mourning or other tragedies. TEMPLE YOUTH GROUP - Organization of young people who are post-bar-bat/mitzvah to age 18 meeting under sponsorship of adult advisors.
